Give the gift of FUN, ADVENTURE, and of course, ARTMAKING with us at The Hangout PDX! We offer Gift Certificates for Date Nights & Year-Round Art Camps!
YEAR-ROUND ART CAMPS ($55 per day): Our Art Camps give children of all artistic abilities the opportunity to unwind from the stresses of school and kid life while learning Fine Art skills from professional artists and art educators! Camps are designed for K-5 kiddos and children do not need to be currently enrolled in our program to join us. Camps can be booked in one, two, three, and/or five-day packages.
One (1) Day @ $55

Three (3) Days @ $165
A Full Week, Five (5) Days @ $275
DATE NIGHTS ($35 per child): Date Nights are offered on Fridays, twice a month September - May. From 6PM - 9PM, kids join us for a pizza party, craft making, board games, a G/PG-rated film, and popcorn while Mom & Dad take a night off! Date Nights are designed for 3-11 year old kiddos (must be potty trained!) and they do not need to be currently enrolled in our program to join us. Give the gift of a night off for you and your kids!

Our fun and enriching Single Day Art Camp Classes are the best way to keep your kids having fun and learning when Portland Public Schools are closed! From the novice painter to the expert clay maker, we work with all students to inspire creativity, self-confidence, and friendship while introducing them to new art mediums and exciting experiences!
Each in-service day and early release day we take a deep dive into a different art medium and give your kids the tools to explore the reaches of their imagination! Through play based lessons, our students will work with ceramics, painting, textiles, crafting - and more!
Our Single Day Art Camps are broken up with indoor time where much of our artmaking activities happen, and outdoor-action time! We play games such as kick-ball, capture the flag, tag, frisbee- not to mention some outdoor relaxation time as well.
We believe at The Hangout PDX that every kid deserves a high-quality art education that is targeted towards each child’s unique interests and skillset. We take pride in creating a welcoming and safe environment for campers that helps unleash their inner artist while having fun with new friends!
HOW IT WORKS (IN-SERVICE/Holidays):
Parent/Guardian Drop-off : 8:15am
Parent/Guardian Pick-up: Anytime between 2:00p - 3:00p
Ages: K- 5
Cost: $55/day
Do you pickup from my child’s school?: For SINGLE DAY ART CAMPS you will bring your child to our location between 8:15AM - 9AM and pick them up between 2PM-3PM. No transportation is offered.
What location do I book?: Because parents are in control of drop-off & pick-up for In-Service Days, you are able to select the location most convenient for you!
Cancellation Policy for All Art Camps:
Cancellation requests received two (2) weeks, or more, prior to start at The Hangout PDX will receive full refund less a $25 per camp/class cancellation fee. Cancellation requests received less than two (2) weeks prior to start of camp will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds on cancellation requests received one (1) week or less prior to start at The Hangout PDX.
