LET THE GOOD TIMES BEGIN!
Join the Hangout team for our Field Trip Art Camp, an adventure-style spring break program that takes us out of the art studio and out and about the amazing art that lives our own backyard!
We’ll hike to the top of Mount Tabor and explore Forest Park, go on a city mural and architecture scavenger hunt, visit the Portland Art Museum and it’s newly expanded exhibits, and end the week with a trip to the Oregon Zoo! All the while, campers will draw inspiration from their adventures in their handmade sketchbooks via graphite, charcoal, pastel, and watercolor mediums!
HOW IT WORKS (SPRING BREAK 2025):
Parent/Guardian Drop-off : 8:15am
Parent/Guardian Pick-up: 3:00p
Drop-off/ Pick-up Location: 4707 SE Belmont
Ages: 8-11
Cost: $325
What’s included: Transportation to/from Field Trip location site(s), all entrance and group fees associated with location site(s).
What to pack: Each camper will carry their own backpack complete with a full water bottle, two snacks, a sack lunch, any necessary medication, and appropriate clothing/shoe wear for that day’s activity.
Are their restrooms?: Yes! We will take planned restroom breaks throughout the day!
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR ALL ART CAMPS:
Cancellation requests received two (2) weeks, or more, prior to start at The Hangout PDX will receive full refund less a $50 per camp/class cancellation fee. Cancellation requests received less than two (2) weeks prior to start of camp will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds on cancellation requests received one (1) week or less prior to start at The Hangout.
